Short project description:

The project will enhance social dialogue in the work place and introduce innovative measures for improvement and monitoring of the working conditions in the Bulgarian industry and healthcare services. The Project objectives are in compliance with the national policy for strengthening and building capacity of the Working Conditions Committees as a part of the system for Health, Safety and Environment in the work place in Bulgaria.

Expected results:

The project aims through strengthening and building capacity of the Working Conditions Committees (WCCs) in the organisations/enterprises, to contribute to the enhancement of the social dialogue in the work place. The tangible results will be
(1) innovative measures for improvement and monitoring of the working conditions based on the exchange of good practice examples with Norway and establishment of a WCC’s network in 6 pilot branches and
(2) it will contribute to the implementation of the Law on health and safety at work in Bulgaria
